Forum Title: Another Rubber Roofdeck Bites the Dust
18 years old. They haven't used It'since it was 2 years old because of the Carbon Black fI'm on it. Put new door in 3 years ago. Deck has leaked for 3 years  Priced it 12 months ago. Doing it this week. Gutter was taken off before I got there. There are builders re-cladding (residing) the house and a new coloursteel roof was put on a few weeks ago. Peeling the rubber of was a PITA, 3? at a time, for some reason the 2nd finger on each hand is grazed just above each fingernail, couldn't get a grip with gloves on. :woohoo: Plywood was nailed with galv round head 2 1/2?nails, most were OK but afew had rusted out and the ply popped in places. Countersink and install 400 Stainless Steel screws, 2 hours :cheer: Router edge of plywood and fit pvc coated drip edge, packed out 20mm for new gutter. Found the leak  Looks like when they put the new door in they didn't seal it in properly :S Sand off old glue residue. Still to come; Router 1? channel for recessed seam. Lay 1.5mm (60mil) PVC deck membrane. Dress membrane into door cavity Form collars to posts. Weld PVC to drip edge.
